 Alpinamed
AG was founded 1983 in Freidorf, about 10 km south of Romanshorn at the
lake of Constance. The company benfited during last years from a strong
development and therefore achieved a good position among the leading specialised
manufacturers in herbal extracts.
Since the begining of its activities Alpinamed followed the path of diversification.
The development, manufacturing and marketing of own pharmaceutical specialities
of various galenic forms for Swiss pharmacists and druggists as well as
the toll- manufacturing for the pharmaceutical, nutritional and cosmetic
industries of herbal extracts (liquid, spissum- and dry) are still the
core business.
 The
continuous growth was driving the investment activities. The initial facilities
became limited in Freidorf and were extended by the acquisition of an
industrial area in Romanshorn. End of 1999 we inaugurated there a new
building with most modern installations for the extraction process at
large scale, distillation and own vacuum drying process. Based on various
process technologies Alpinamed is now able to fulfil the customers various
product specific requirements up to the final extract ready for the process
of solid forms.
Since 2000 Alpinamed is in close cooperation with
Gebro Pharma GmbH in
A-6391-Fieberbrunn.
