Process techniques for large-scale production Extracts at industrial scale require as a rule the following methods of extraction:
Both above mentioned methods are applied at Alpinamed specifically to a given product or according the special requirements from the customer.  Percolation:
The principle of the percolation extraction consists in the aim to obtain the biggest concentration of active principles. Alpinamed uses for this extraction method a 4 – level percolation installation, the functionality and state of the art technology that makes possible a reproducible process management. What advantage does this broad offer of various techniques bring to our customers? Alpinamed can offer the full variety of extraction processes according to the needs and  requirements
(e.g. registration or revalidation). For extracts with active principles
sensitive to temperature, Alpinamed can also provide modern techniques
of distillation (e.g. centrifugal-flow thin film-evaporators or falling
film evaporators). They produce, because of low temperatures and short
stays, a smooth distillation and concentration.By using the vacuum drying process Alpinamed takes advantage of the method with respect to flexibility and smoothest processing of the product. Alpinamed does also use the spray drying process. |
